Equipment

Oemeta offer a comprehensive range of equipment that supports the maintenance of industrial fluids. All of the items listed below are available to purchase direct from Oemeta:

Dosing systems

For the dosing and mixing of coolants with water, we offer high quality Dosatron products.

Installed directly to your water supply, the Dosatron pumps operate by using water pressure as its sole power source. Water activates the pump, which takes up the required percentage of concentrate directly from an attached container and injects it into the water. Inside the pump, the concentrate is mixed with the water, and the water pressure forces the new solution downstream. The dose of concentrate will be directly proportional to the volume of water entering the pump. This ensures a consistent mixing ratio of fresh emulsion.

Oil Skimmers

Oil skimmers are effective devices that remove floating tramp oils and impurities from the surface of coolants and other fluids. There are several ways this can be done (band skimmers/tube skimmers/oil separators) depending on your current setup and machinery.

Refractometer

Hand refractometers are one of the quickest ways to get a precise coolant concentration reading. By maintaining the optimal coolant concentration, your processes will run smoother for longer, and the chances of your machines and tools becoming damaged are greatly reduced.

The refractive index of a specific liquid can be determined by using the easy to read optical scale on the refractometer.

Test Strips

For the monitoring and controlling of cutting fluids, Oemeta offers the following selection of test strips:

  • Nitrate Strips
  • Water Hardness Strips
  • pH Strips
  • Test strips to determine the ADDITIV ET and BF concentration in HYCUT (Oemeta’s two-component emulsion).

Oemeta Test Kit - Water Soluble Oil Concentration

The Oemeta Test Kit enables users of water miscible cutting fluids to accurately determine the concentration of their mixture instantly.

This easy and low cost method of establishing concentration levels helps you to control your solution. This helps you ensure you are using the optimum concentration for your specific operation, resulting in: excellent manufacturing results, economic efficiency, and first class health and safety conditions in the work place.

Oemeta Analytical Test Case

When in use, your coolant is continuously subjected to external influences. Impurities are carried in (e.g. tramp oils, salts, other waste substances), and vital coolant ingredients are dragged out.

The Oemeta analytical test case contains important tools to help determine changes in your coolant composition. This allows you to understand the necessary steps that should be taken to keep your coolant at its best.
